Composing with space as part of the music.
Sync Spatial Music is a practice based in Västra Götaland, exploring how voice, instrument, space and digital tools can become one living instrument. We build works where music surrounds, moves and breathes around the people inside it.
A practice and a platform.
At the centre of our work is Sync, a platform that spreads an ensemble through the space, gives every performer personalised cues in real time, and makes where each person stands an active part of the score.
From collaborations with artists and studios to large participatory events, these ideas have developed across very different contexts. Our flagship project, /Spatial Voices/, brings them together as a 25-voice architectural choral work for the region.
